<<< Brandy Shakette

This top photo of Brandy was taken when she was on a medical research course to help combat Hay Fever.
It is widely thought that Hay Fever is not actually a pollen allergy, but a reaction in the early summer months to the sudden increase in
floral dresses and skirts worn by ladies
(and some blokes) when the sun comes out.
The brain overloads on the fabric images
and results in the typical symptoms of Hay Fever.

Brandy is now designing a range of blouses
covered in embroidered prawns and mussels to
help research shellfish intolerances.

Ex-concert pianist Brandy collects Snow Domes -
those liquid-filled ornaments you shake the snow in - and she has some very rare editions including one marking the first break-up of
Take That, one which depicts
The Fall of The Roman Empire (that obviously has glitter rather than snow)
and one celebrating the marriage of Brandy to Brad Pitt (this is one Brandy made herself).

Brandy is fluent in Japanese and Dutch, and is looking forward to seeing lots of ShakeAway Fans in Pompey.

Thom Shakette >>>

Thom gets his large melons out for
his favourite MilkShake - he's a fruity boy and likes nothing better than wandering around
fruit and veg stalls in European markets,
and in fact got an Honours Degree in
Market Stalls of The World from University in Paris.

After University he stood-in for the singer Prince
(who looks like Thom-formally-known-as-Thom)
for 14 of his 21-day gig event at London's O2 Arena and the attending public didn't know. Thom can do that because he is an amazing lip-syncher and it might not even be him speaking when he takes your order at ShakeAway. Watch him closely but also check-out other Shakettes standing close by.

Thom can't juggle, tap dance, balance a broom on his finger, use hair straightners without burning himself,
blow bubbles with bubble gum or speak Dutch.
But those are the only six things that he can't do.

Thom being a Thom Cat.

<<< Megan Shakette

Having had tattoos on her face "just for a laugh", Megan then had them permanently removed in New York using pioneering lasers and now there is no trace of them. She was the first to have this treatment worldwide and appeared to discuss it on TV shows including Oprah and Paul O'Grady.

Having toured for several years throughout Asia, America and Europe with Torvill & Dean in their Ice Spectacular Show, Megan had to give it all up when she got a blister on her right heel. She then worked as a choreography consultant on ITV's Dancing On Ice and specialised in advising on Blister Avoidance Techniques.

Having been a cross-channel swimmer (until she got lost and ended up swimming for 179 hours and arriving in Denmark) Megan, who lives on the Isle Of Wight, swims across the Solent to Portsmouth every day to get to work. She leaves home at 4am so that she can avoid the ferry crossings getting in her way and treats herself to a Weetabix MilkShake when she gets to ShakeAway.

Michele Shakette >>>>

It's a woo-hoo for Franchisee Michele!

As an ex-DJ from Manumission and Privilege in Ibiza, Michele (or "Da Lady M" as she was then known) is seriously into her dance music. She loves to create her own mixes using samples from around the world, and is especially fond of a Pan Pipe. She made the charts with her compilation CD "Da Lady M's Summer Groooves" which included a hip-hop mix of the Smurfs, a thrash metal version of Abba's "Fernando" and an attempt to revive the career of B*witched with a 1:34 medley of their hits.

Da Lady M's ShakeAway - in Pompey hood.
