Kim Shakette >>> Some days Kim can't decide whether to be a girly-girl and wear a nice pink hat, or to be a blokey-girl and enjoy riding a nice Chopper. She has been known to combine the two and wear a Pink Hat on her Chopper, but as that's illegal in Dorset she received a Police Warning and won't do it again. Having won £250,000 on Deal Or No Deal, she gave all the money to her project for The National Chopper Museum which is under development and will open in Poole later this year. It celebrates the iconic bike and is expected to attract around a million visitors each year. Kim is also working on a jewellery line inspired by Chopper handlebars. Kim provides the French lady's voice on a TomTom Sat Nav. Although she doesn't speak any French, she learned what to say phonetically and now when she goes to France on holiday she still can't order anything in restaurants but can tell people how to get home. Her ambition is to have a pet squirrel and call it Alf. |
