Franchisee Carl is so pleased to open the first of his ShakeAway Shops and determined to follow all the rules that he even cut his plaits off for Health & Safety reasons!

Carl is known locally for his prize collection of ornamental cabbages. He grafts different varieties together to create amazing new species, and is now working on combining different types of vegetables. He has perfected a marbled Carrot/Parsnip combo,
has got a green & orange stripy Marrow/Pumpkin,
but is currently struggling with combining a
Brussel Sprout with a Potato because the chips they make taste vile.

As a teenager, Carl wanted to study dance and specialise in Chinese Tap, but apparently having webbed toes made things difficult
and he had to pursue a different career.

When Alan ("Voice Of The Balls") Deddicoat is on holiday, Justin stands in for the UK Lottery Show announcing the ball numbers live on TV. He can tell you how many times each number has appeared since the Lotto began (19th November, 1994, as he'll proudly tell you) and his all-time favourite number is 32. He often wells up when he talks about that number.

Justin comes from a family which invented the Wet Floor Sign. In a bid to increase sales further, they are now working on a Dry Floor Sign because they figure most floors ARE dry and therefore they could make a killing in extra sales. They are currently lobbying the government to make Dry Floor Signs compulsory on all dry floors.
