Here is the terribly shy Lauren who we persuaded to join ShakeAway after she had been living as a hermit in a hidden Hampshire Forest for almost three years. She still loves the isolation of nature and has a bivouac in the shop's store room covered in twigs & branches where she takes her breaks. She finds birds singing relaxing, although now they are on her iPod.

As soon as she left the Forest, Lauren became Chief Consultant advising the BBC on details of forest-living for creating accurate indoor sets for filming. She also helped on Lord Of The Rings (the movie company created a rumour that it was filmed in exotic New Zealand, but it was actually filmed on a plastic and wood set just outside Fareham).

Lauren doesn't have any tattoos, but does have some very pretty birthmarks in the shapes of stars and hearts.

Her favourite ShakeAway MilkShake is a
Large Hot Turkish Delight, Mandarin, Carrot Cake & Cucumber with a Topping of Nuts, Parma Violets & Cream. With a bucket.

Ben has lived in Fareham for almost seven minutes and has had the time of his life since arriving. He previously lived on Jersey, The Isle of Man, Guernsey, the Isle of Wight and the Scilly Isles, so this is the first time for him on any mainland. He thinks the Shopping Centre is actually an island, so please don't reveal the truth in case the shock is too much.

Despite having a singing voice with a five-octave range, Ben had no desires to pursue a showbiz career.
He does amazing impersonations of Ronan Keating, Stevie Wonder and Dolly Parton (and loves you to ask him to do them), but after failing auditions for
Stars In Their Eyes doing Nigel Winehouse (Amy's unknown brother), he got the hump and  thankfully joined ShakeAway.

Ben is scared of the colour purple, can catch flies with his tongue and his favourite word is "word".
Being a car-freak, he owns a Porsche, a Mercedes, a Bentley and an Aston Martin, and is now saving up for a working replica of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

He has the slowest-growing hair in Hampshire.
The last time he had a hair cut was in 1986.
