Kayleigh Shakette >>>

Kayleigh changes the spelling of her name every month. Recent months have been Kaylee, Ka-Leegh,Cai-Leep (the "p" is silent) and Rijuit (using the Icelandic pronounciation which sounds like "Kayleigh").

She and the Shakettes often have themed days in ShakeAway Bournemouth. Kayleigh is Head Theme Thinker (you can see her thinking of a theme in this photo), and they have recently had "Sleepy Theme" in which they all stay at home in bed and don't open the shop, "Rudey Theme" in which they swear at Customers (sometimes they do that on a non-theme day by mistake) and "Starey Theme" during which they stand and stare at each other.

Kayleigh has personally adopted the number 437 and, because she owns it, can withdraw the use of it at any time. This could have a massive effect on world trade so we tread very carefully and never mention the number in her presence. PLEASE don't mention it when you visit ShakeAway. It's not funny or clever.

Kayleigh can move her ears (on a good day, in opposite directions) and also once won third prize in a Butlins Nostril-Flaring competition making headlines around the world. Search YouTube for lots of video footage of it.

<<< Sam Shakette

Thrashing the Shakettes is Sam, or as his friends call, him, Sam.

Deciding to leave the cast of Eastenders due to the relentless filming schedule, Sam moved to Bournemouth where he took up training to be an Olympic Javelin Thrower (or "OJT as it's known in the sporting world). After a terrible mishap when he stuck the javelin right through his earlobe during a practice session, he realised the sport was not for him and he joined ShakeAway.

His favourite dates are 12th June, 15th October and 3rd November, except in an odd-numbered year (such as 2009) when, for obvious reasons, he changes 3rd November to 11th December. If you wish Sam a "Happy Lucky Day" on those dates, he will smile and give you a big kiss (only on the cheek. Of your face).

He loves the colour "direncio" which is only found in South America and sadly never seen in the Northern Hemisphere. He bought a direncio shirt during a visit to Argentina, but as soon as he unpacked it at home, it turned a mucky beige.

Classy. Sophisticated.
