Children In Need.... Pyjama Day... Hallowe'en... They're a strange bunch in Baaaath.....

Way back in the Roman times of 2003
the doors opened for ShakeAway IV.
(No, not "Ivy"... IV is Roman numerals for "4", dimbo.
It's the least we can do with ShakeAway in a Roman City)

Where is ShakeAway in Bath?
Well, you'll know Anne Summers, the sexy undies shop
(we know you do)... we're in the road opposite that.
Between the famous Bath Abbey & new Spa.

In honour of Bath's West Country traditions,
we're experimenting with a Paaaasty MilkShake.

Big Ted meets ShakeAway's CupMan
during our fund-raising day for a Premature Baby Unit
at the Royal United Hospital in Bath!

Hear ye, citizens of Bath... the Rulers of ShakeAway Bath

<<< Marc Shakette

You could be mistaken in thinking that Marc is thinking something deep in this photo, but it was actually taken just after a nasty lip piercing accident which shot the ring straight through his index finger and lip - he had to put up with that for over six weeks until a specialist was able to separate the finger and lip again. Phew!

Since struggling when work dried up as choreographer for groups such as Steps, S-Club Seven and B*Witched, Marc went back to college and studied French, German, Polish, Dutch, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Greek and Welsh. Although he decided that choreography was more his forte than languages, he can now dance in several national costumes and dreams in a different accent each night.

Marc is allergic to the letter "K". This was discovered when he was eight weeks old and his name "Mark" was changed to "Marc" which solved everything. He has never been able to enjoy a bucket of KFC with his mates.

Ollie Shakette >>>

Ollie is incredibly talented at doing animal impressions and although he normally only does them for private parties and people he's related to (although in fairness, that's quite a lot of people in Bath), he agreed to do some impressions for these photos. We are sure you'll agree they are quite amazing.

Ollie holds the World Record of putting 27 Cadbury's Creme Eggs in his mouth at once (DO NOT try that at home - or anywhere else, come to that). He came out of hospital only three days later with a bad case of Fondanti Overloadus.

He boasts that he knows the words of "Happy Birthday To You" so well that he can even sing it backwards. if he REALLY concentrates he can also sing it sideways.
Do ask him, even if it's a really busy Saturday.

His talents also extend to being able to pick up a coin between every toe, and he's now working on being able to do it while wearing shoes.
